Ghana’s Black Stars defender, Baba Rahman is happy to return to the field and play a part in his team’s victory in the English Championship.
The Ghana International had a great time in the game for his club Reading FC in the English Championship on Saturday afternoon at home when they beat Antoine Semenyo’s team.
The Ghana left-back played full throttle for his team as they beat their opponents 2-0 at the Select Cars Leasing stadium to to move withing the playoffs spot.
“Felt good to be back out there again with the guys. Support was unreal as always and the guys kept in a good shift”,he Tweeted on Twitter after the game.
“We recover and go again next weekend. Massive +3 to send you all off to a good weekend”, he added.
Rahman was rated by Fotmob with a 7.2 rating making making him a joint sixth ranked player in the game in his team’s victory to record their eighth win of the season.
Mamadou Loum Ndiaye scored the opener on the 52nd minute of the match to put the hosts 1-0 up early in the second half of the match following a goalless first 45 minutes.
Former Liverpool and Newcastle United player Andy Carroll scored the insurance goal few minutes into additional time period of the match to make it 2-0 against Bristol City FC for Reading.
The 28-year-old Ghanaian left-back was yellow carded in the game as he made his fifth league appearance in the 2022-23 English Championship.
