A steadfast performance on Saturday afternoon saw Ghanaian talented forward Charles Sajoe Jr on target for Under-21s who put four goals past Blackburn Rovers to secure a top spot in English Premier League 2.
Sagoe Jr, hasn’t been short of goals so far this season, and the fixture proved to be no different as he again appeared on the scoresheet.
Arsenal continued to look dangerous, however, and Sagoe Jr and Bandeira both came close to scoring on the counter.
The Gunners hard work was rewarded once again in the 77th minute with a moment of brilliance.
Charles Sagoe Jr weaved his way through the Blackburn defence and restored Arsenal’s two-goal margin with a shot that nestled in the bottom corner.
An intelligent ball from Nwaneri unlocked Charles Sagoe Jr down the left wing, and Butler-Oyedeji finished off the team move with his third goal in two games.
Substitute Billy Vigar later whipped a cross in to captain Jack Henry-Francis, who tapped home to end the game 4-1 for Arsenal.
