Eric Ayiah is set to join Portuguese side, Gil Vicente for the 2022/23 season, according to Joy Sports’ Lawrence Baidoo.
The former Black Starlets captain will move to Portugal after failing to break into Monaco’s team since joining them in 2018.
Ayiah, 22, is reported to have completed his medical earlier this week ahead of signing the deal with the Primeira club.

The striker garnered media attention in 2017 by leading Ghana to victories at the Fifa U17 World Cup in India and the Africa U17 Cup of Nations in Gabon.
Ayiah was second in the goal king race at the U17 Afcon five years ago after scoring four goals.
Despite being a young player when he joined Monaco, he has not been able to establish himself as a first-team player since the move, which has encouraged him to leave France.
Ayiah is expected to improve Gil Vicente’s team that finished fifth in the top flight last season.
