Asante Kotoko on Friday afternoon walloped lower-tier side Asekem FC 1-3 in a friendly game ahead of the Porcupine Warriors postponed Super Clash against rivals Hearts of Oak in the Ghana Premier League.
The game was played at the Nsuta-Beposo Stadium.
Richmond Lamptey and captain Ishmail Badul Ganiu netted the first two goals for the Porcupines during the 17th and the 23rd minutes respectively.

Asante Kotoko ended the game with 10-men after attacker Stephen Amankona was red-carded for causing the visitors penalty in the 40th minute. The penalty was, however, saved by Caf 2021 U-20 AFCON winner Ibrahim Danlad.

The second half started with the 2-0 lead in favor of the Reds before Anthony Opoku pulled one back as an equalizer ft the host.
Aseem was also reduced to 10 men as their goalkeeper was shown a red card for making a deliberate save outside the penalty box with his hand.

Striker Solomon Sarfo Taylor restored the lead with a left-footed strike from close range to make it 3 for the Reds at the 77th minute.
