France and Real Madrid striker Karim Benzema added onto his trophy cabinet after helping his country defeat Spain 2-1 on Sunday night at the San Siro to lift the 2021 UEFA Nations League trophy.
The talented footballer scored a stunning equalizer in the 66th minute to cancel Mikel Oyazabal’s opener for the Spanish side two minute earlier.
PSG forward Kylian Mbappe scored the winning goal ten minutes from full time as France staged another comeback following the one against Belgium where they came from 2-0 down at half time to claim a 3-2 victory.
The Nations Lague title means Benzema has won 26 senior trophies now – 18 at Real Madrid and 7 at Lyon.
