Gold Stars head coach Frimpong Manso believes his side should have secured all three points against Hearts of Oak, lamenting missed chances in their Ghana Premier League clash.
Gold Stars were held to a 1-1 draw by the Phobians in a tightly contested encounter, despite creating multiple goal-scoring opportunities. Manso expressed his disappointment, insisting his team did enough to win.
“We should have won the game because we created a lot of chances,” he said after the match. “The boys played well, and we dominated in several phases, but unfortunately, we couldn’t convert our chances.”
The result keeps Hearts of Oak in the top four as they prepare to face fellow top-four contenders Nations FC.
Gold Stars, now second in the standings, will look to bounce back against Heart of Lions.
