Ghana Premier League champions Samartex FC began the 2024 Nsenkyire Cup with a resounding 4-0 victory over Nsoatreman FC on Friday afternoon. The four-team tournament aims to help clubs prepare effectively for the upcoming 2024/25 football season in Ghana.
The opening match, held at the Nsenkyire Sports Arena, featured the league champions against the MTN FA Cup winners. Samartex FC showcased their prowess by comfortably securing a 4-0 win over Nsoatreman FC.
Later in the day, Legon Cities FC will face Nations Football Club in the second match of the all-play-all tournament.
