The Black Stars of Ghana’s 2021 Africa Cup Nations qualifier against South Africa, has been moved forward to Thursday, 14 November at the Accra Sports Stadium instead of the initial date 15th November, 2019.
The Black Stars were originally set to play South Africa on Friday 15th November but CAF has pushed the game forward to 14th November, 2019.
Black Stars coach Kwasi Appiah, is currently touring Europe to monitor Ghanaian players who are doing well at their respective club sides before returning home later this week to name his squad for the big game.
South Africa will then welcome Sudan three days later on Sunday, 17 November at the Orlando Stadium after CAF changed the initial dates for the Cameroon AFCON 2021 qualifiers.
Coach Kwasi Appiah’s side are pitted in Group C alongside South Africa, Sudan and Sao Tome Principe.
Two teams from the Group will qualify for AFCON 2021 in Cameroon.
Sao Tome earned a historic victory over Mauritius – winning 3-1 in the first leg of the preliminary stage and followed it up with a 2-1 victory in the second leg to complete a remarkable 5-2 overall aggregate win.
