Morocco national team Coach Vahid Halilhodžić has called Al Ahly central defender Badr Benoun, Al Ain attacker Soufiane Rahimi and FAR Rabat right-back Mohamed Chibi to the squad for the 2021 AFCON in Cameroon.
The trio were not initially part of the squad the experienced Bosnian gaffer released last Friday but an outcry from the public has forced him to hand a late call up to the three players ahead of the tournament.
Rahimi was the best player of the tournament earlier this year when Morocco won the CHAN in Cameroon and has been in fine form for UAE outfit Al Ain.
Benoun and Chibi on the other hand have been among the best defenders in both the Egyptian and Moroccan leagues so far this season.
The Atlas Lion will open their AFCON campaign with a game against Ghana on January 10.
