France are through to the knockout stages of the ongoing FIFA world Cup in Russia after beating Peru 1-0 on Thursday.
The PSG star Kylian Mbappé scored the only goal in the game to power the Blues to the next phase of the competition.
After their fortuitous 2-1 win over Australia in the opening game, France had hoped to make a statement in Ekaterinburg but struggled to impress once again.

Peru pushed for an equaliser later on but ultimately could do little to avoid slipping to a second consecutive 1-0 defeat.
