The Ghana Football Association in collaboration with headline sponsors of the Division One League, GN Bank, will launch the 2016/16 GN Bank Division One League on Friday January 27.
The event which will be held at the Coconut Groove Hotel in Accra, will be a prelude to the commencement of the Division One League which is scheduled to begin next month at the various league centers.
The media is hereby invited to attend this event which will start at 2pm.
Division One League clubs will however attend a stakeholders meeting on Friday at 9:00am at the GFA Conference Room for some deliberations ahead of the upcoming season.
Ahead of the upcoming season, the Division One League Board (DOLB) will organize a stakeholders meeting on Friday January 27 at the GFA Secretariat in Accra.
The meeting which will commence at 9:00am will be attended by officials of the Football Association, DOLB members, Sponsors and officials of all 48 DOL clubs.
Amongst the issues to be discussed at the stakeholders meeting include, sponsorship deals (GN Bank & Star Times), Security of matches, Officiating fees and Affiliation fees.
The meeting is also to enable the stakeholders to deliberate over issues to ensure a smooth kick-off of the 2016/17 Division One League season next month.
Clubs are hereby reminded to come along with the following in order to receive their match balls and bibs:
1. Declaration of dedicated jersey numbers to each player
2. Declaration of strips
3. Declaration of official signatories
4. Official Club telephone numbers and club email address
