Technical Director of 1860 Munich Günther Gorenzel says new forward Prince Osei Owusu will fit in at the club after joining on loan from Arminia Bielefield.
The 22-year old is on loan till the end of the season after a difficult first half of the season at Bielefield, where he score two times in 13 appearances.
According to Gorenzel, the striker will be included in Munich’s side to face Osnabrück on Saturday and he believes the player fits the club’s system.
“You do not have much time here at Grünwalder Straße and we do not have much time in our offensive game to have another alternative,” Gorenzel said.
“It is important to us that the boy integrates as quickly as possible into the team and the game system,” he added.
“And that the coach has as soon as possible another opportunity for his offensive game. This is very important to us.”
“By design, he’s a classic striker, so we have to make sure his integration process into our game idea works fast,” Gorenzel said about Owusu. “We do not have much time.”
