Thirteen players have convened at the training camp in Marrakech, Morocco, as Ghana’s Black Stars gear up for upcoming international friendlies against Nigeria and Uganda.
The squad, led by coach Otto Addo, commenced their preparations on Monday, March 18th, with an initial workout session.
Among the notable players present are goalkeepers Joseph Wollacott and Lawrence Ati-Zigi, alongside field talents like Andre Ayew, Tariq Lamptey, and Antoine Semenyo.
Late addition Kassim Nuhu joins the ranks, along with Abdul Samed Salis, Abdul Fatawu Issahaku, Patrick Kpozo, Seidu Alidu, Ernest Nuamah, Jordan Ayew, and Denis Odoi.
The team is set to intensify their training with the first field session scheduled for Tuesday evening, aiming to fine-tune their strategies and cohesion ahead of the anticipated clashes in Marrakech.
These friendly matches will serve as crucial tests for the Black Stars, offering coach Otto Addo valuable insights into his squad’s strengths and areas for improvement ahead of future competitive fixtures and tournaments.
